USAID Haiti Project

The AREA project is a USAID funded program that centers around the agricultural community of Haiti. Each branch of program is working towards food security for Haitian farmers. This program has powerful potential to shift the agricultural community and bring attention to Haitian scientists teaching their community.

I filmed, edited and produced this story during the spring of 2018.

Opera On Tap: WETA D.C.

“As Carla Rountree puts it, "You don't ever just walk into a bar and think, 'I wonder if someone's singing Puccini up in here.'" But, that's exactly what you might find at Wonderland Ballroom and other bars around D.C. thanks to Opera on Tap. The group seeks to bring opera back to the people with free shows that entertain and also give vocalists to a chance to try out new musical styles.”- WETA D.C.

This is one of the story ideas I pitched as an Video intern. I helped film, transcribe, edit, and color correct this piece as a video intern.

I filmed, edited and produced this story during the fall of 2017.

TEDxUF: 2017

TEDx events were created by TED to bring TED.com experiences to local communities and create intentional connection. The X stands for an independently organized TED event and UF has maintained the largest TEDx in the South East for many years.

I produced this talk in 2017 and it now lives on TED.com due to its later success. Throughout the event day, I managed a team of fifteen photographers and you can view our work here.

360 Video: Farm To Table

Food sourcing is important to many local restaurants but the Daily Green puts the emphasis on the farms from their hometown. Rosie’s Organic Farm is a Gainesville staple at farmers markets and restaurants and their family mission comes across in this virtual reality.

I shot this video on a Nikon 360 degree camera and stitched it together in Premiere for a fun editing challenge!
